Coryn is almost 1!!! Ella and Tara are back in school.

No it can't be. In less than two weeks my baby is going to turn 1! I am not ready. I wanted her to stay a baby just a bit longer. Why does life have to fly by so fast? We are having a monkey party for her and I got her the sweetest pink monkey dress.

Tara started Kindergarten two weeks ago and Ella started 3rd grade. They are at different schools this year, Tara at the Primary and Ella at the Elementary. They will never go to school together until high school. They are both loving their classes and so far seem to be doing fine although I know that a few months/weeks down the road that too could change.

They are both playing soccer and will probably start to enjoy it once they are actually playing games and it isn't almost 100 out!

We are planning a quick family weekend to St. Louis sometime this fall and will take the train there. We love St. Louis. It is such a great city for a quick trip. Great zoo, children's museum, restaurants, and shopping. I love to visit St. Charles too, but the kids probably won't enjoy that so we'll skip that this go around. We are taking them up in the arch for the first time. Wish me luck as I get a little nauseous even thinking about it.

Another day

Today went fairly well. We had swimming lessons and then we came home and took naps. We needed them after the weekend. Tara got stung by a wasp playing on the playground out back:( It hurt her pretty bad. Good thing she is tough. She took it like a trooper.

Unfun Day

I did my welcome earlier, but let me just throw you into our life cold turkey.

What is one of the worst things that could happen to an almost 8 year old girl? Have you thought about it long enough?

E woke up in the night throwing up, so her birthday party has been cancelled. I spent the last hour calling anybody and everybody who might need to know that it is all a no-go! And she has to be REALLY sick because otherwise she would tough it out, but not my girl, she sadly said "I can't go to my party, Mom".

Giving Blogging a try

I have been reading blogs for awhile now and decided what the heck. I can do that, not that anyone would probably be that interested in what I have to say, but it is a good place to keep a record of our lives. Let me introduce our family to you.

I am the mommy(Heather). I keep busy feeding, bathing, dressing, cleaning, organizing, driving, tending, laundering, and computering...not really a word, but I am going to use it. I stay at home but not in a literal sense since we are usually not at home. I was a teacher(5th grade) before I chose to do all the above things, but consider that in my past and honestly will probably never go back to teaching. At the young age of 34, I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

J.R.- is my husband. He is a banker. He likes things a certain way and my way usually doesn't fall into that path which causes much frustration, but he loves me. I am a lucky lucky girl.

Ella- is our oldest. She is much like her father. I am sure I frustrate her too LOL!

Tara- is our middle child. She is a dreamer. Much like me. I think she probably frustrates Ella and J.R. as much as I do;)

Coryn- is the baby and a cute one might I add. Her personality is still emerging. But we all love and adore and dote on her way too much.

That sums up our family, although I will share more about each of us as we go along. Happy Reading and hopefully lots of happy writing:)
